Historic Wing Lodge Rooms

As the name suggests these rooms were original to the Lodge. They have been in operation since 1940. These rooms are often requested because some of them offer the best views of the Illinois River. These rooms are accessible by stairs only.

New Wing Lodge Rooms

The new wing Lodge rooms were added during the renovation of 1988, all of these rooms are conveniently located near the Mary Michelle Winery, the Game Room, and the Pool which also features a dry sauna, hot tub, and exercise room. This wing of the Lodge is on a first and second level served by an elevator.

Room Amenities

All of our guest rooms have a private bath, guest controlled heat and air, dresser, cable television, radio, telephone with data port, coffee maker, coffee and amenities, and hair dryer.

Each of our rooms are unique and may have any combination of the following: bunk beds, table & chairs, pullout sofa, electric Insert fireplace, pool view, river view, or park view.

Cabin Rooms

The cabin rooms offer a slightly more private stay and exude a rustic ambiance which can only be matched by the Great Room in the main Lodge. Each cabin houses 3 separate hotel rooms (for example rooms 301, 302, and 303 are all located in the Lassalle Cabin) and guests can take a short 150ft walk across the grounds to utilize Lodge services.

Welcome to the most extraordinary State Park Lodge in Illinois! Built by hand by the Civilian Conservation Corps during the Great Depression in Pere Marquette State Park, the historic Pere Marquette Lodge and Conference Center is an awe-inspiring structure of limestone and massive timbers.

Grand Ballroom!

2,900 square feet of flexible venue space with a great atmosphere and view to enhance your reception. The conference area can accommodate up to 250 guests and can be sectioned off to cater to smaller receptions.

Weddings!

Located on 8,500 wooded acres east of St Louis, Pere Marquette Lodge is a grand, historic building built in the 1930s. With its awe-inspiring Great Room and beautiful grounds, Pere Marquette Lodge offers a truly unparalleled site for your bridal luncheon, rehearsal dinner, wedding ceremony and reception in the St Louis area. "Awesome, This place is located so close to the St. Louis area yet while we were there it seemed so far away. My wife and I enjoyed our stay in one of the stone cottages. We had a wonderful meal in the lodge then shared a bottle of wine pool side. The lobby is one of the coolest anywhere and the history of how it was built made me appreciate it even more.
